The invention relates to the technical field of hardware door stoppers, and discloses a self-retracting buffer door stopper which comprises a wall body. A door plate is movably mounted on one side ofthe wall body, a fixed frame is fixedly mounted at the lower end of the wall body, an attraction block is fixedly mounted in an inner cavity of the fixed frame, and a movable groove is formed in the surface of the attraction block. According to the self-retracting buffer door stopper, by additionally arranging an automatic retracting mechanism, when the door stopper is in an unused state, the doorstopper can be automatically retracted into a groove formed in the door plate according to the large gravity of a door stopper ball, and when a door is pushed to be opened and attracted to a wall, abalancing weight can compress a first corrugated pipe under the action of centrifugal force according to the magnitude of thrust, thus gas in the corrugated pipe moves into a gas conveying pipe through a ventilation cavity under the action of pressure, and a rotating sleeve drives the door stopper ball to rotate through deformation of the gas conveying pipe, so that the door stopper ball can be better attracted to the attraction block fixed to the wall, and the problem that a traditional door stopper extends out by a section, and potential safety hazards exist is solved.
