The invention relates to the field of straw brick blocks, specifically to a straw brick making machine and a straw brick block. The straw brick making machine comprises a base; a material mixing box is mounted at one end of the base; a lower mold is mounted at the middle part of the top surface of the base; multiple guide columns are mounted on the base; a top plate is mounted at the tops of the guide columns; multiple hydraulic rods are mounted on the top plate; push rods of the hydraulic rods are connected with an upper mold; a material feeding pipe is connected between the upper mold and the material mixing box; a drying box is mounted at the other end of the base; a conveying belt is mounted in the position, between the drying box and the lower mold, in the base; and a material pushingcylinder is fixedly mounted in the position, between the lower mold and the material mixing box, on the base. Raw materials are stored in the material mixing box and are continuously and uniformly mixed; the upper mold and the lower mold are closed; paste materials are fed between the upper mold and the lower mold to be molded; the upper mold is lifted; the lower mold pushes molded straw brick blocks out of the lower mold; the material pushing cylinder and a push plate push the straw brick blocks to the conveying belt; the conveying belt conveys the straw brick blocks into the drying box to be rapidly dried; and therefore, high-strength straw brick blocks are rapidly manufactured.
