The invention provides a thickness control device for a floor slab and a steel bar protection layer. The device comprises a formwork, a plurality of thickness control members and slab surface steel bar mechanisms, wherein each thickness control member is arranged on the formwork, and two thickness control steel bars arranged at intervals are installed on each thickness control member; the slab surface steel bar mechanisms are arranged on the thickness control members, and the two thickness control steel bars on the thickness control members are inserted in the diagonal positions of the cross section of the slab surface steel bar mechanisms, so that the thickness control members are located under the cross section to support the slab surface steel bar mechanisms. The device combines steel bar protection layer cushion blocks with the floor slab thickness control members, the thickness of the floor slab can be controlled, the thickness of the steel bar protection layer can be controlled,when concrete is poured, constructors can observe the pouring height through the top ends of the thickness control steel bars, at the same time, the height of the steel bar protection layer is effectively controlled, and the steel bar protection layer cushion blocks are prevented from offsetting.
