The invention provides a novel wire pole. The novel wire pole comprises a main body. A shell is fixedly mounted on the right side of the main body. Mounting parts are fixedly mounted on the inner wallof the right side of the shell. A driving mechanism is fixedly mounted between the mounting parts. A rotary shaft is movably mounted on the left side of the driving mechanism. A driving gear is fixedly mounted at the left end of the rotary shaft. The driving gear is in engaged connection with a driven gear. When equipment needs to be maintained, the driving mechanism generates kinetic energy anddrives the driving gear to rotate through the rotary shaft, and the driving gear drives the driven gear through engaged connection; and through matched connection of a lead screw and a roller, the roller moves downwards. The roller is provided with a wire, and the wire cannot be broken when the roller moves downwards. The roller moves downwards to facilitate maintenance by related personnel, and the maintenance personnel do not need to climb up to carry out aloft operation. Accordingly, the risk of the maintenance personnel is reduced, and the effect of conveniently maintaining the equipment is achieved.
