The invention discloses a preparation method of a crucible tray of a single crystal furnace. The preparation method comprises the following steps: cutting carbon fibers into short fibers by a cuttingmachine, dispersing the short fibers, uniformly mixing the cut and dispersed short fibers with phenolic resin powder, and performing hot pressing on the mixture by using a mold; demolding a product formed by pressing, and then carrying out a machining treatment; carrying out a surface density enhancement treatment on the machined crucible support; and carrying out a high-temperature purification treatment on the densified crucible support. The preparation method has the advantages that firstly, the prepared crucible support has the advantages of low cost, short preparation period and good mechanical property; secondly, compared with a carbon fiber woven prefabricated body post-carburization process, the cost of the scheme is lower, the mechanical property difference is small, and the preparation period is one third of the carbon fiber woven prefabricated body post-carburization process.
