The invention belongs to the technical field of ecological planting, and discloses porous planting concrete and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the porous planting concrete comprises the steps of adding graded sand gravel, cement, aggregate, a water reducing agent, a soil binder and water into a stirrer in proportion to be stirred to obtain a mixed material; adding a dispersing agent and an alkaline regulator into the mixed material, uniformly stirring, and adding an organic fertilizer to obtain a concrete mixture; and pouring the concrete mixture into a mold, carryingout vibration molding, and carrying out watering maintenance on the molded porous planting concrete. The raw materials are simple in composition, the preparation method is simple, convenient and reasonable, and meanwhile, the porous concrete can obtain better mechanical properties and durability indexes through the provided vibration compression molding process; the alkaline regulator is subjectedto integral grinding, so that the molecular structure can be adsorbed on the surface of superfine porous SiO2, the hydration reaction with cement paste is more sufficient, and the alkalinity is further reduced.
