According to the safety belt for the construction site scaffold, stop rods, movable rods and buffering telescopic rods are arranged and cooperate, and therefore the stop rods can act on vertical rods in the process of moving along with the movable installation base, hook devices can be separated from transverse rods through mechanical linkage, the hook devices can stride over the vertical rods, then tension springs, first torsional springs and second torsional springs are arranged and cooperate, each hook device can be automatically hung on the other transverse rod, and then the situation that a user forgets to hang the hook devices on the adjacent transverse rods after taking down the hook devices is prevented.
