The invention relates to a preparation method of a high-strength and high-toughness silicon carbide nanowire reinforced silicon carbide ceramic composite material . The preparation method comprises the following steps of: preparing a silane coupling agent modified silicon carbide nanowire, preparing a phenolic resin coating coated silicon carbide nanowire, preparing a carbon coating coated siliconcarbide nanowire, and preparing the silicon carbide nanowire reinforced silicon carbide ceramic composite material. According to the method, effective transfer of loads between the silicon carbide ceramic matrix and the nanowire reinforcement is guaranteed, and the carbon coating on the surface of the silicon carbide nanowire can effectively protect the silicon carbide nanowire in the silicon carbide nanowire from being damaged due to reaction with the matrix during high-temperature sintering.
