The invention relates to the technical field of drainage, and discloses a siphon rainwater hopper for building drainage. The siphon rainwater hopper comprises a grid cover, a hopper body, a reverse vortex device and a water outlet short pipe; the grid cover and the hopper body are fixedly installed at the upper end and the lower end of the reverse vortex device respectively, and the water outlet short pipe fixedly sleeves the lower part of the hopper body; and the reverse vortex device comprises a reverse vortex outer cover, the anti-vortex outer cover is in an annular column shape, partitionplates are welded to the inner wall of the reverse vortex outer cover, a movable hopper disc is arranged inside the reverse vortex outer cover, and the movable hopper disc slides up and down along theouter walls of the partition plates. According to the siphon rainwater hopper for building drainage, through up-down movement of the movable hopper disc, the size of a gap for rainwater to enter therainwater hopper can be automatically adjusted according to the amount of rainwater, so that the gap only allows the rainwater to pass through, air carried and wrapped by flowing rainwater cannot enter the siphon rainwater hopper, the amount of air entering the rainwater hopper along with the rainwater is reduced, and thereby the formation of siphon effects is promoted.
