The invention relates to a steel slag powder-doped micro-expansion grouting material for a sleeve, and preparation and expansion effect detection methods thereof. The steel slag powder-doped micro-expansion grouting material is prepared by mixing the following components in percentage by mass: 40-45% of cement, 30-35% of steel slag powder, 1-2% of fine sand, 1-2% of a water reducing agent, 1-2% ofa retarder and 1-2% of a defoaming agent, with the balance being water. According to the invention, the steel slag powder replaces modified mineral powder; due to the expansion effect of the slag powder, an expanding agent does not need to be added; and the compactness of the sleeve filled with the sleeve grouting material and used for steel bar connection can be improved after the grouting material is used, so steel bar connection strength is further improved, and the utilization rate of resources can be increased. The quality of the grouting material for the sleeve is guaranteed through a corresponding detection mode in the preparation process.
