The application discloses an installation method and installation structure of a steel arch bridge arch rib section. The installation method comprises the steps that a guide assembly is arranged at acantilever end of an installed arch rib section; and when an arch rib section to be installed is installed, the installed arch rib section and the arch rib section to be installed are aligned throughthe guide assembly. The technical problems that due to the fact that accurate alignment of the arch rib sections is difficult, the adjusting period is long, and the installation efficiency is low aresolved.
