The invention discloses a reinforcing steel bar connecting piece for spiral reinforcing steel bars, and relates to the field of building processing. The reinforcing steel bar connecting piece comprises a first reinforcing steel bar and a second reinforcing steel bar, the first reinforcing steel bar is located at one end of the second reinforcing steel bar, connectors are fixed to the ends, close to each other, of the first reinforcing steel bar and the second reinforcing steel bar, and connecting mechanisms are arranged on the outer walls of the connectors; the connecting mechanisms comprise afirst connecting block and a second connecting block which are located on the outer walls of the two connectors correspondingly, connecting grooves are formed in the first connecting block and the second connecting block correspondingly, and rotating threads are arranged at the positions, making contact with the connectors, of the first connecting block and the second connecting block correspondingly. The first connecting block, the second connecting block and the telescopic block are arranged, in the welding process, generated welding spots are completely contained by gaps among the first connecting block, the second connecting block and the telescopic block and cannot protrude, meanwhile, in the welding process, the first connecting block, the second connecting block and the telescopicblock are effectively connected with reinforcing steel bars, and therefore the probability of inferior-quality products is reduced, and meanwhile compared with a traditional pressure welding mode, welding spots are effectively protected once.
