The invention discloses automatic installation equipment for building external wall insulation boards. The equipment comprises a containing block, a containing cavity with a rightward opening is formed in the containing block, a smearing mechanism is arranged in the containing cavity, and the smearing mechanism comprises a pushing motor fixedly connected with the inner wall of the rear side of thecontaining cavity; and a pushing rod is mounted on the lower end face of the pushing motor in a sliding connection manner, a bonding agent containing block is mounted on the inner wall of the rear side of the containing cavity in a fixed connection manner, and a bonding agent push plate is mounted at the lower end face of the pushing rod in a fixed connection manner. According to the automatic installation equipment, the insulation boards are conveyed through friction wheels, uniform smearing is conducted while the insulation boards are smeared with a bonding agent, the insulation boards arefixed through the suction force, the insulation boards are installed after being fixed, and the moving distance of the installation equipment for the insulation boards is fixed each time, so that theinsulation board ramming process is conducted through continuous beating when the next insulation board is installed.
