The invention discloses a folding tent with an automatic telescopic cornice structure. The folding tent comprises tent leg pipes, a tent top rod and a supporting rod, wherein a mounting base is arranged at the upper ends of the tent leg pipes in a matched mode; one end of the tent top rod is hinged to the mounting base; leg pipe sliding bases can move along the tent leg pipes; the tent leg pipes are further provided with leg pipe sliding bases in a matched mode; the leg pipe sliding bases are used for being matched with the supporting rod; the front end of the supporting rod is hinged to the tent top rod and used for unfolding or folding the tent top rod; the mounting base is provided with a cornice sliding sleeve; the cornice sliding sleeve can move relative to the mounting base and is used for being matched with a cornice rod; the cornice rod can slide along the cornice sliding sleeve so as to stretch outwards or retract inwards; the cornice rod comprises a first cornice rod body anda second cornice rod body deflecting relative to the first cornice rod body; and one end of the second cornice rod body is used for being movably matched with the supporting rod. Through the optimized design, the folding tent has the characteristics of being simple in structure, good in use performance, convenient to operate and low in manufacturing cost.
