The water surface pollutant automatic cleaning equipment comprises a ship body, a driving assembly, two chains, chain wheels and a filter screen collecting hopper, wherein a storage cabin is formed in the ship body, the two sides of the ship body are each provided with a plurality of chain wheels, the two chains are arranged on the two sides of the ship body correspondingly, the chains are wound around the peripheries of the corresponding chain wheels to be in transmission connection, thedriving assembly is in driving connection with at least one chain wheel, and the filter screen collecting hopper is erected on the two chains. According to the technical scheme, the chains can drivethe filter screen collecting hopper to circularly move in the clockwise direction or the anticlockwise direction, in the process that the filter screen collecting hopper floats out of the water surface, garbage on the water surface is fished, when the filter screen collecting hopper moves to the position above the ship body, the dumping action is completed, the fished garbage is poured into the storage cabin, and then sunk into the water bottom along with the movement of the chains to perform the next salvage cycle, thereby realizing the thorough cleaning of the water surface.
