The construction process comprises the following steps of: preparing for construction, performing wood receiving inspection, and constructing a wood trestle structure. Mounting longitudinal main wood beams and transverse wood beams are included to form a bridge floor foundation; wood beam mortises and angle steel at the bottoms of the longitudinal main wood beams are fixedly mounted; handrails and stand columns are combined and connected at the bridge floor foundation, and then the stand columns are installed and fixed through bolts;and wooden face plates are mounted, and inclined strut assembly is conducted on the handrails. According to the wood trestle construction process, the structural strength of a wood trestle is significantly improved.
