The invention provides a section steel-square steel pipe combined buckling restrained brace. The section steel-square steel pipe combined buckling restrained brace comprises a core stress component, an outer restraining component and a positioning pin; the core stress component is formed by connecting a plurality of section steel energy dissipation sections, a middle limiting section, a pluralityof square steel pipe elastic sections and two end connecting sections coaxially in the longitudinal direction, the outer restraining component is a square steel pipe, and the core stress component islocated inside the outer restraining component; and the periphery of the middle limiting section and the peripheries of the square steel pipe elastic sections of the core stress component are tightlyattached to the inner side of the outer restraining component, and gaps exist between the section steel energy dissipation sections and the outer restraining component. According to the section steel-square steel pipe combined buckling restrained brace, torsional deformation of the square steel pipe elastic sections can be effectively limited, so that overall torsional deformation of the core stress component is limited, surface strain of the section steel energy dissipation sections of the core stress component is reduced, and the low-cycle fatigue performance of the buckling restrained braceis enhanced; and meanwhile, profile steel and the square steel pipe are common materials in a construction site, can be cut and installed on site according to use requirements, and are simple in structure, light in self-weight, convenient to use and low in cost.
