The thickener provided by the invention can significantly improve theworking performance of fresh concrete and improve the wrapping property and cohesiveness of slurry, the slump of the thickener is greater than 230 mm, the expansion degree of the thickener is greaterthan 700 mm, the thickener is free of segregation and bleeding, and the preparation method provided by the invention is simple and convenient.
