The invention discloses a height limiting device for bridge warning. The height limiting device comprises a bridge road body, a ramp, a height limiting rod, a horizontal moving mechanism, a limiting mechanism and blocking mechanisms; the height limiting rod is arranged on the rear side of the top end of the bridge road body in the left-right direction; the horizontal moving mechanism is embedded in the top ends of the bridge road body and the ramp in the left-right direction and located on the front side of the height limiting rod; the limiting mechanism is arranged at the top end of the horizontal moving mechanism in the front-back direction; and two blocking mechanisms are arranged at the top end of the bridge road body and located on the front and rear sides of the limiting mechanism respectively, and the other blocking mechanism is arranged on the front side of the top end of the ramp. The height limiting device for bridge warning can remind and stop an over-high vehicle, so that an accident happening when the over-high vehicle collides with the height limiting rod as a driver of the over-high vehicle does not pay attention in time is prevented; and besides, the over-high vehicle in front of the height limiting rod can be quickly moved away, so that traffic can be conveniently restored in time, and traffic congestion is prevented.
