The garbage collection mechanism comprises a bottom plate, wherein a moving assembly is mounted at the bottom of the bottom plate; a water suction pump is mounted on the upper surface of the bottom plate; a water inlet pipe is arrangedat a water inlet of the water suction pump and is connected with one end of a garbage treatment box; a water outlet pipe is arranged at a water outlet of the water suction pump and is connected with one end of a sewage treatment box; a water suction assembly is arranged at the other end of the garbage treatment box and is mounted in a lifting assembly through a rotating assembly; a garbage treatment assembly is arranged in the garbage treatment box; a slag outlet is formed in the bottom of the garbage treatment box; a sewage treatment assembly is arranged in the sewage treatment box; and a water drainage pipe is arranged at the other end of the sewage treatment box. The garbage collection mechanism is provided with the water suction pump, sewage in a riverway is sucked out through the water suction assembly by using suction force of the water suction pump, and garbage in the sewage is collected and treated by using the garbage treatment assembly.
