The invention provides an automatic energy-saving garbage disposer for smart home, relates to the technical field of garbage disposers, and aims at solving the problems that when an existing garbage disposer is used, some kitchen garbage is placed in the garbage disposer to be ground, a large amount of water needs to be used for washing, water resources are wasted, residues are likely to exist inthe garbage disposer, and thorough cleaning cannot be conducted. The garbage disposer comprises a body, a cover plate and a panel. An inner cavity is formed in the body, and the bottom end of a rotating rod is mounted at the top end of a vertical rod in the inner cavity. A protruding block is arranged on the side face of an inner groove, and the inner groove is formed in the body. The bottom of the cover plate is of an arc-shaped structure, the cover plate is installed at the top of a feeding port, the panel is of a conical structure and is arranged on the side face of the vertical rod, and aguide groove in the outer portion of the panel is formed in the side face of the inner groove. Water is gradually supplied through the cover plate to clean the garbage disposer, the bottom of the garbage disposer is cleaned through the panel, and residues are prevented from emitting peculiar smells.
