The invention discloses an offshore floating type wind generating set which comprises a floating type foundation, a tower, a downwind fan and a space tensioning system. The tower is arranged in the center of the floating type foundation, the downwind fan is arranged on the tower through a machine cabin at the tail part of the downwind fan, and the machine cabin is not provided with a machine cabincover. The space tensioning system is used for connecting a plurality of foundation arms of the floating type foundation with the downwind fan. Or the tower is of a Y-shaped structure, the lower partof the tower is connected with the center of the floating type foundation, the number of the downwind fans is two, the downwind fans are installed on the two upper portions of the Y-shaped structurethrough machine cabins at the tail portions of the downwind fans respectively, the number of the space tensioning systems is two, and the two machine cabins are connected with the foundation arms of the floating type foundation through the two space tensioning systems. The wind wheel load is directly transmitted to the floating type foundation from the machine cabins through the space tensioning systems, the tower bearing is directly reduced, the design requirement for the tower is reduced, and the offshore floating type wind generating set has obvious economic advantage.
