The invention discloses a preparation method of an Al2O3/TiB2/Ni3Al ceramic cutter material. The method comprises the following steps: preparing an intermetallic compound Ni3Al and a sintering aid into slurry, uniformly mixing the slurry with Al2O3, performing drying to obtain composite ceramic powder, prepressing the composite ceramic powder into a green body, and carrying out vacuum hot-pressingsintering on the green body to obtain an alumina-based ceramic cutter material; the vacuum hot-pressing sintering process is as follows: the vacuum degree in a furnace is lower than 0.01 MPa, the initial pressure before sintering is set to be 10 MPa, the pressure is increased to 25 MPa in the heat preservation stage, pressure relief is completed after heat preservation, the temperature rising speed is 50 DEG C/min, the room temperature is increased to 1450 DEG C, the heat preservation is conducted for 30 min from the room temperature, and then furnace cooling is conducted. The invention further provides a preparation method of the ceramic cutter. Compared with a metal ceramic cutter, the ceramic cutter prepared by the invention has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, can meet the increasingly improved performance requirements of the market on the ceramic cutter, and is beneficial to further expanding the application range of the ceramic cutter.
