The invention discloses a preparation method of reaction-sintered silicon carbide. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing silicon particles; adding the obtained silicon particles and carbon powder into an organic binder, and uniformly mixing and stirring the mixture to obtain a mixture; and putting the mixture above a silicon carbide biscuit, and carrying out a reaction ata high temperature to obtain the reaction sintered silicon carbide. According to the preparation method of the reaction-sintered silicon carbide, silicon particles are adopted to replace silicon powder, compared with a traditional preparation process, the pressing procedure is omitted, the preparation time is saved, the production efficiency and the effective space utilization rate are improved,the production cost is reduced; by adopting the preparation method, waste residues obtained after environment-friendly treatment are almost zero, and the environment-friendly effect is good .
