The invention relates to an adjustable flood discharge gate for a water conservancy project. The adjustable flood discharge gate comprises a mounting frame and a gate plate, wherein sliding blocks arearranged on the two sides of the gate plate, the sliding blocks are in sliding fit with guide grooves formed in the mounting frame, a lifting driving assembly is further arranged on the mounting frame, and the lifting driving assembly is connected with the gate plate; and a bottom groove is formed in the bottom of the mounting frame, a bottom plate is arranged on the inner side of the bottom groove in a sliding mode, one side, facing the gate plate, of the bottom plate penetrates through the bottom groove, embedded grooves are further formed in the two sides of the mounting frame, pressing plates are arranged on the inner sides of the embedded grooves in a sliding mode, and the pressing plates are further connected with the bottom plate through linkage assemblies. The lifting driving mechanism is arranged to drive the gate plate to be controlled to be opened and closed relative to the mounting frame, when the gate plate moves towards the bottom plate and generates extrusion force on the bottom plate, the bottom plate moves downwards, and the pressing plates arranged on the two sides of the mounting frame are driven to move towards the gate plate through the linkage assemblies, sothat the sealing performance of the gate plate after being closed is improved.
