The invention discloses a rail transit station construction method without affecting ground traffic. The construction method comprises the steps that 1, station permanent steel pipe columns and under-column foundations of the station permanent steel pipe columns are constructed; 2, the station permanent steel pipe columns serve as vertical supports, and a temporary roadway is erected above a foundation pit of a station to be constructed; 3, a pedestrian path is erected above or below a temporary roadway bridge by a certain distance; 4, edge and top protection is conducted on the temporary roadway and the temporary pedestrian path; and 5, the station is constructed by adopting an open-cut method. The rail transit station construction method combines the advantages of a traditional cover excavation method, and has the advantages that the construction efficiency is high, the construction risk is low, the construction investment is low, the traffic cannot be temporarily interrupted, the traffic dispersion is not needed, and the people and vehicle congestion cannot be caused.
