The invention discloses a rail transit station construction method without affecting ground traffic. The rail transit station construction method comprises the steps that a construction area of a station on the ground is determined; internal fences are built in the construction area, and station permanent steel pipe columns are built in the construction area; a temporary man-vehicle passing mechanism is built above the construction area; at least parts of the tops of the permanent steel pipe columns are inserted into the lower surface of the temporary man-vehicle passing mechanism so as to provide support for the temporary man-vehicle passing mechanism; and open excavation construction is conducted in the construction area. The method solves the problems that in the prior art, during the construction period of rail transit, traffic of urban roads is seriously influenced, particularly during the construction period of stations, road surface fences need to be built, the roads are seriously blocked, and even traffic paralysis frequently occurs during rush hours.
