The invention discloses a handheld stringing device. The handheld stringing device comprises an outer shell, the outer shell comprises a front shell body and a rear shell body, the front shell body and the rear shell body are mutually fixed, a C-shaped open groove is formed in the upper end of the outer shell, a C-shaped rotating frame is installed between the front shell body and the rear shell body at the position where the open groove is located, and the rotating frame and the open groove are coaxially arranged; the opening size of the open groove is larger than that of the rotating frame,the rotating frame is rotationally connected with the outer shell, a lug is integrally formed on the inner wall of the left end of the rotating frame, and a rope binding hole used for binding a rope is formed in the lug; and a driving mechanism used for driving the rotating frame to rotate so as to enable the rotating frame to drive the end of the rope to penetrate through a hanging ring fixed toa ceiling is installed in the outer shell, and a rotating handle is arranged at the lower end of the outer shell and connected with the input end of the driving mechanism. Under the condition that a worker does not adopt a crawling ladder, the end of the rope can penetrate through the hanging ring fixed to the ceiling, and therefore convenience can be brought to the worker.
