The invention discloses an ultralow-porosity high-alumina brick and a preparation process thereof. The invention discloses an ultralow-porosity high-alumina brick which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of tabular corundum, 15-25 parts of fused brown corundum, 10-20 parts of tabular corundum powder, 10-20 parts of aluminum oxide superfine powder, 2-6 parts of clay,2-6 parts of a binding agent A and 2-8 parts of a binding agent B. The binding agent A comprises concentrated phosphoric acid and water, and the binding agent B comprises alumina sol and water. And the apparent porosity of the ultralow-porosity high-alumina brick is below 10%. The invention discloses a preparation process of an ultralow-porosity high-alumina brick. The preparation process comprises the following process steps: a, fully dispersing and uniformly mixing tabular corundum and fused brown corundum; b, adding the binding agent A, then adding tabular corundum powder, clay, and alumina superfine powder, mixing, then adding the binding agent B, and mixing; c, pressing the mixture into molded green bricks by using a hydraulic machine; and d, firing the green bricks in a tunnel kiln.
