The invention relates to the field of bridge construction, and particularly discloses a multifunctional trestle construction method suitable for a thick pebble bed, which comprises the following steps: after a steel pipe pile is vibrated to sink to the designed depth of a pipe pile, drilling a riverbed pebble bed in the steel pipe pile, lowering a reinforcement cage and pouring underwater concreteto form an anchor pile after drilling to the designed depth of an anchor hole; anchoring the lower part of the concrete anchor pile with riverbed bedrock, and anchoring the upper part of the concreteanchor pile with the steel pipe pile, so that the steel pipe pile is anchored with riverbed bedrock strata. According to the construction method, for trestle construction on bed rock covered with a thick pebble bed, anchor pile reinforcement is conducted on steel pipe piles, so that the problems that a trestle is difficult to construct on a pebble bed riverbed, the enough buried depth cannot be guaranteed due to the fact that steel pipe piles are difficult to insert and drive are solved, and the vertical bearing capacity and the transverse stability of a whole trestle are improved. The trestle has multiple functions of transportation, piling, drilling (anchoring piles) and the like, and can meet the requirements of various construction stages.
