A high-water-head valve top water stop fixing method is characterized in that two rows of fixing bolts are added on the basis of existing top water stop single-row fixing bolts, are parallel to original single-row fixing bolts and are symmetrically arranged on the left side and the right side of the original single-row fixing bolts to form three rows of transverse fixing bolts, and the newly addedfixing bolts are transversely located on the symmetry axis of every two adjacent original fixing bolts; the fixing bolts are staggered with original fixing bolts, and original single-row one-line arrangement is changed into three-row quincunx arrangement, so that the top water stop is fixed and restrained more tightly in a larger area, the problem of uneven compression of the single-row fixing bolts to the water stop is solved, and meanwhile uneven tensile deformation of the water stop under the condition of high water head pressure is reduced. The service life of a top water stop is effectively prolonged.
