The invention provides a pier column concrete curing covering material winding device and method. The device comprises a vertical rod, a first bevel gear, a connecting sleeve and a horizontal cross rod, wherein the vertical rod is used for being coaxially connected to concrete at the top of a pier column, the first bevel gear which is coaxially fixed on the vertical rod, the connecting sleeve is coaxial with the vertical rod and connected to the upper end of the vertical rod through a first bearing, the connecting sleeve is connected with the horizontal cross rod through a second bearing withthe horizontal axis, one end of the horizontal cross rod is coaxially connected with a rope winding disc with the horizontal axis, the other end of the horizontal cross rod is coaxially connected witha second bevel gear, the axis of the second bevel gear is horizontal, the second bevel gear is meshed with the first bevel gear, a lifting rope is wound on the rope winding disc, the lower end of thelifting rope is connected to the rotatable center of a horizontal tray, and the horizontal tray is used for mounting a maintenance covering material surrounding the lifting rope. According to the device, winding and recycling construction of the maintenance covering material can be rapidly conducted, the construction efficiency is improved, the construction cost is reduced, environmental pollution is reduced, and environmental protection is facilitated.
