The invention discloses a grooving machine anti-cut protection mechanism which comprises two first screws; the outer surfaces of the two first screws are connected with the two ends of a first protection cover, the two ends of a second protection cover and one ends of two connecting rods in an inserted mode correspondingly; the top of the first protection cover communicates with a dust absorptionconnecting pipe through a dust collection opening; a sealing groove is formed in one end of the dust absorption connecting pipe; a threaded groove is formed in one side of the sealing groove; a fixinghole is formed in the outer surface of the top end of the first protection cover; a fixing nut is connected into the fixing hole; and a second screw rod is in threaded connection with the top of thesecond protection cover. According to the grooving machine anti-cut protection mechanism, the first protection cover, the second protection cover, the first screw rod, the second screw rod, the fixingnut, the sliding block, the guide groove and the connecting rod are matched, so that the purpose that the protection covers are adjustable is achieved; and through cooperation of the dust absorptionconnecting pipe, the sealing groove, the threaded groove and the water inlet pipe, the grooving blade is cooled and dedusted.
