A height-adjustable anti-seismic spherical steel support for rail transit comprises an upper support plate assembly, a middle support plate assembly, a lower support plate assembly, an anchoring assembly, a height adjusting device and a protective device, wherein the lower support plate assembly on the lower portion is connected with an abutment through an anchor bolt assembly, and the upper support plate assembly on the upper portion is connected with a beam body through the height adjusting device. The height adjusting device can comprise an upper sleeve, a pressing block and an anchor rod,wherein the lower portion of the upper sleeve is embedded into a beam bottom embedded plate, a plurality of annular grooves are formed in the inner wall of the upper sleeve at intervals, and a plurality of conical grooves are correspondingly formed in the upper surface of the anchor rod and the lower surface of the pressing block respectively. Each pair of oppositely arranged conical grooves forma conical space for respectively placing a pressing ball, and each pressing ball is embedded into the corresponding groove to form expansion and fixation so as to transmit the axial force of the anchor rod; therefore, the problems that the height of an existing height adjusting support is increased due to increase of the height adjusting amount, the economy is poor, the operation efficiency is low, the durability of a protection device is poor, and maintenance is inconvenient can be effectively solved, and height adjusting of the support is convenient, the economy is good, and the height adjusting operation efficiency is remarkably improved.
