The invention discloses a metal guardrail with high impact resistance. The guardrail is characterized in that two same upright posts are fixedly connected to two sides of a bottom plate, a top plate is fixedly connected to the tops of the upright posts, five parallel handrails are fixedly connected to the top of the bottom plate, the tops of the handrails are fixedly connected with the bottom of the top plate, and four same rollers are arranged on the front surfaces of the handrails; and bearings are fixedly connected to the two ends of each roller. An arranged buffer filling layer can play arole in buffering when the guardrail is impacted, meanwhile, the rollers can rotate when the guardrails are impacted, impact force is decomposed into force in the tangential direction of impact pointsof the rollers and acting force on the guardrails, the force borne by the guardrails is greatly reduced, and anti-cracking strips on the outer walls of the upright posts can protect the upright posts, the upright posts are prevented from being collided and scratched, meanwhile, the supporting effect can be achieved when the upright posts are collided, and therefore the effect of being high in impact resistance is achieved.
