The invention discloses an angle steel tower material replacing tool and a using method thereof. The angle steel tower material replacing tool comprises a handle, two connecting rods and two clampingparts; wherein one end of the handle is in threaded connection with one end of one connecting rod, and the other end of the handle is in reverse threaded connection with one end of the other connecting rod; and the other ends of the two connecting rods are movably connected with the clamping parts correspondingly, and the clamping parts are used for clamping angle steel tower materials. In the diagonal member replacement process of an angle steel tower, the positions of mounting holes of diagonal members are adjusted by clamping the two main materials of the angle steel tower, so that the diagonal members are convenient to replace, and the problems that when the diagonal members are replaced, the overall structure of a tower body slightly deforms, the relative positions of the mounting holes of the diagonal members are changed, and the mounting is difficult are solved.
