A cylinder-free rack coded lock belongs to the field of machine manufacturing and is suitable for safe cabinets, vault secret chambers and home security doors. The cylinder-free rack coded lock aims to overcome the defects that in the prior art, technical unlocking cannot be prevented, and use is inconvenient. According to the scheme for solving the technical problems, a plurality of gears 2, a plurality of rack pins 4, a spring bolt shaft 1 and a limiting plate 5 are arranged to form a plurality of dynamic frames shaped like a Chinese character'hui ', the spring bolt shaft 1 is restrained inthe mode that one gear 2 is meshed with two rack pins 4, the spring bolt shaft 1 can do axial movement only when the rack pins 4 are located at the unique specific position, and the scale line reading, matched with the mark, of the specific position at knobs 8 is determined as a password; a gear assembly composed of the gears 2 of a hollow shaft structure, a mandrel 6, the knobs 8 and the like isarranged to change and input a new password; and all or part of the knobs 8 are rotated, an opening-closing handle 7 is rotated, and the lock is opened and closed.
