The invention provides a U-shaped helical gear-and-rack type directional coded antitheft lock with a lock cylinder. The antitheft lock is designed with a side locking piece and provided with a cross arm; a lock cylinder plate is arranged on the cross arm; the lock cylinder is arranged on the lock cylinder plate; a U-shaped ring is arranged; one end of the cross arm is connected with the right upper end of the U-shaped ring and a rotating pin, and can be turned upwards; a frame is arranged and connected with one end, where the lock cylinder plate is arranged, of the cross beam by use of a hinge, and the frame can be reversed; an upper fixed block, a lower fixed block and inner inserts are arranged in the frame; a plurality of through holes are formed in the upper fixed block; a plurality of rotatable helical gears are mounted on the inner inserts and correspond to helical racks in direction, and the helical gears are divided into left-handed gears and right-handed gears; a group of irregular digitals are formed on the toothless circumferential surface of the other half part of each helical gear; line marks are formed on the intermittent planes of the upper fixed block; the helical racks appropriately go into flat blind holes by about 3mm. The U-shaped helical gear-and-rack type directional coded antitheft lock with the lock cylinder is provided with changeable codes and the lock cylinder which does not need to be changed frequently, and only locking codes and unlocking codes need to be remembered; the anti-theft lock can be widely applied to non-motor vehicles, has a dual-lock function and is safer.
