The invention discloses a 90-degree side-hung hinge for a heavy triple rod, and relates to hardware of doors and windows. The side-hung hinge comprises a U-shaped bottom plate connected with a windowframe, a starting connecting rod connected with a window sash, a long supporting connecting rod and a short supporting connecting rod, wherein the long supporting connecting rod and the short supporting connecting rod are riveted with the U-shaped bottom plate and the starting connecting rod correspondingly, and an opening and closing structure composed of four rivet shafts is formed. Through a riveting structure, the thickness of the connecting rods is increased, and in addition, a riveting connection structure is used, so that the bearing capacity of the 90-degree side-hung hinge is improved; all parts of the 90-degree side-hung hinge are made of metal materials, all functions of the 90-degree side-hung hinge do not fail even under the condition of high temperature, and fire safety is guaranteed; the window sash is driven to rotate through a rivet shaft, extra movement space does not need to be increased, screws can be driven at the U-shaped bottom plate, the U-shaped bottom plate and the window frame are fixed, and mounting and connection are firm; and therefore, the load-bearing, anti-theft, fire-fighting and mounting functions are greatly improved, and the safety guarantee isprovided for mounting and using by a user.
