The invention discloses an object recognition and distance measurement method and device based on a camera device. The method comprises the steps of carrying out the photographing of a peripheral setrange through the camera device, carrying out the object shape recognition of a photographed image, calculating a plurality of interest points on the surface of an object according to the shape of theobject, measuring the distance between the interest points of the object to obtain the distance between the detection target and the surrounding object in different directions and the minimum distance between the detection target and the surrounding object, comparing the minimum distance with a preset safety distance, according to the comparison result, issuing a corresponding control instructionto one or more controllers or transmitting measurement results such as the shape and the distance of the object, wherein the minimum distance is the measurement distance, and the safety distance is aset distance empirical value. The method has the beneficial effects that the distances between the detection target and different positions of the surrounding object are repeatedly measured, and thenthe minimum distance between the detection target and the surrounding object can be accurately calculated.
本发明公开了一种基于摄像装置的物体识别及间距测量方法及装置,该方法包括:通过摄像装置对周边设定范围内进行拍摄,对拍摄的图像进行物体形状识别,根据物体形状计算物体表面若干兴趣点;对物体的兴趣点进行测距,得到检测目标与周边物体不同方位的距离以及与周边物体的最小距离;将最小距离与预设的安全距离进行对比,根据对比结果,向一个或多个控制器下发对应的控制指令或者传送物体形状、距离等测量结果,最小距离为测量距离,安全距离为设定的距离经验值。本发明的有益效果为:反复测量检测目标与周边物体不同位置的距离,进而可以精准量计算出检测目标与周边物体的最小距离。
