The invention discloses a support hole positioning device and method and relates to the technical field of bridge support hole positioning construction. The support hole positioning device comprises aright-angle ruler, a first sliding straight ruler, a second sliding straight ruler, a first pin column and a marking assembly, wherein the right-angle ruler comprises a first straight ruler and a second straight ruler which are connected; the first sliding straight ruler is perpendicular to the first straight ruler, and one end of the first sliding straight ruler is movably connected with the first straight ruler and can slide along the first straight ruler; the second sliding straight ruler is perpendicular to the second straight ruler, and one end of the second sliding straight ruler is movably connected with the second straight ruler and can slide along the second straight ruler; the first pin column is movably connected with the first sliding straight ruler and the second sliding straight ruler and can slide along the first sliding straight ruler or the second sliding straight ruler; the marking assembly is connected with the first pin column and used for marking the side boundaryof the support hole with the center of the first pin column as the circle center. The support hole positioning device is advantaged in that the support hole can be accurately positioned.
