The invention discloses a movable ladder capable of keeping step surfaces horizontal. The movable ladder comprises two stand columns arranged in parallel, a plurality of transverse rods,and a connecting assembly, wherein the transverse rods are parallel mutually and arranged between the two stand columns in an equal spacing manner, the transverse rods are perpendicular to the stand columns, the two ends of each transverse rod are connected with the stand columns, the cross section of each transverse rod is rectangular, and a step surface used for supporting a human body is formed on the uppersurface of each transverse rod; and the connecting assembly is used for connecting the transverse rods and the stand columns and comprises a rotating shaft, a mounting block and elastic pieces, wherein a circular rotating groove is formed in one sides close to the transverse rods, of the stand columns, the two ends of each transverse rod are fixedly connected with the rotating shaft, and one endsaway from the transverse rods, of the rotating shaft penetrate into the rotating groove. By arranging the rotating shaft with the light upper part and the middle lower part, no matter how the inclination angles of the stand columns are when a user places the single ladder, the step surface on the transverse rods is always kept horizontal, and when the user steps on the upper step surface, the transverse rods cannot turn over, so that the stability of the user in the climbing process is ensured.
