The invention discloses a novel portable triangular ladder. The novel portable triangular ladder comprises a lower ladder frame and an upper ladder frame, wherein the lower ladder frame is formed by combining lower ladder legs and lower pedals; the upper ladder frame is formed by combining upper ladder legs and upper pedals; the lower ladder frame and the upper ladder frame are vertically arrangedin an up-down corresponding mode; and shrinkage holes are vertically formed in the top faces of the lower ladder legs and correspond to the bottom ends of the upper ladder legs. According to the novel portable triangular ladder, the stability and the flexibility are improved through auxiliary legs and a safety belt, the ladder can be erected on the uneven ground, and meanwhile the defect that a single ladder needs to lean on an object is overcome; the erecting size of the ladder is reduced, so that the ladder can be stably erected in a narrow space; a tool tray is arranged at the top, so thattools and parts are prevented from falling carelessly during operation, operators can select and use the tools and the parts conveniently, and the efficiency is improved; after the ladder is contracted, the safety belt can be converted into back straps for use, so that the portability of the ladder is improved; and the introduction of the auxiliary legs and the safety belt greatly improves the personal safety of the operators.
