The invention provides a method for preparing high-strength gypsum, and the method comprises the following steps of: carrying out crushing screening process (1) and/or conditioning process (2) on a solid material, then performing calcining in a pressurized fluidized calcining process (3) under the heat supply condition of a heat supply process (6), and drying the calcined material and/or the calcined material in a fluidized drying process (4) to obtain the high-strength gypsum, and performing storage in a storage process (5), setting a primary dust removal process (7), a back pressure process(8) and a secondary dust removal process (9) after the pressurized fluidized calcining process (3) to respectively maintain the pressure required by the pressurized fluidized calcining process (3) andensure that the tail gas emission reaches the standard. Water vapor and/or water are/is added in the pressurized fluidized calcining process (3) to regulate and control the partial pressure and temperature of the water vapor in the calcination process, and the method can be used for continuously producing the high-strength semi-hydrated gypsum, and is flexible to operate, convenient to regulate and stable in product quality.
