The invention discloses phenolic resin silicon powder slurry and a preparation method thereof. The phenolic resin silicon powder slurry comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 22 to 24 percent of phenolic resin, 63 to 66 percent of silicon powder, 4 to 6 percent of methanol and 5 to 8 percent of benzenesulfonic acid. The phenolic resin silicon powder slurry is used for preparing a C/CSiC composite material, the phenolic resin silicon powder slurry can be put into a directional hole channel prepared in a carbon fiber preform, carbon in phenolic resin can be mixed with silicon powder in advance, and pyrolytic carbon formed by introducing C3H8 gas for pyrolytic deposition is mixed with the silicon powder for densification treatment, so that the C/CSiC composite material isprepared. Two kinds of carbon with different sources and components are fully mixed with silicon to react, and a SiC matrix with higher compactness can be generated, so that the comprehensive mechanical property of the C/CSiC composite material is greatly improved.
