The invention discloses a steel structure for temporary supporting. The steel structure comprises a base, a movable seat and a placement seat, wherein two sliding plates are slidably connected to theupper end of the base, a driving assembly is arranged in the base, and the two sliding plates are connected with the movable seat through rotating columns and fixing plates; a compressible buffer column is arranged between the two rotating columns, and a damping assembly is arranged at the lower end of the buffer column; and an adjusting assembly for adjusting the angle of the placement seat is arranged between the placement seat and the movable seat, a fixed seat is arranged at the upper end of the placement seat, and three supporting blocks used for supporting a steel structure body are slidably connected to the fixed seat. Square steel materials with different shapes are supported through the supporting blocks provided with step grooves, steel columns with different diameters are supported through three circular arc grooves formed by semicircular groove bodies, and special-shaped steel materials are clamped and supported through clamping grooves provided with a plurality of third springs and clamping blocks, so that the supporting blocks are selected for supporting work according to different actual conditions; and through mutual cooperation of threaded rods, side blocks, through holes and sliding grooves, connection of the supporting blocks and the fixed seat is achieved.
