The invention provides a high-airtightness fireproof door for a refuge and a working method thereof. The high-airtightness fireproof door is characterized by being a special facility used for the refuge in a disaster occasion. The high-airtightness fireproof door comprises a door frame, a door leaf, a special eccentric hinge, an airtightness lock pin mechanism, a handle lock, a push lever lock andan airtightness pressing rubber strip. When various disasters happen, refuge personnel without enough time to evacuate to a safety zone temporarily enter the refuge, the high-airtightness fireproof door is closed, and the refuge personnel take refuge and wait for rescue of rescue personnel. Due to the fact that the facility is high in airtightness and leakproofness and has fireproof performance,the facility can be used for blocking fire, smoke, dust, toxic gas and the like so as to improve the cleanliness, temperature and humidity suitability of air in the refuge, the survival condition of the refuge is further guaranteed, and the survival rate of the refuge personnel in the disaster is increased to the maximum extent.
