The invention relates to the technical field of road construction, in particular to automatic sidewalk pavement laying equipment for road construction. The equipment comprises a flat cart, a materialbox, a material preparation box, a discharging butt joint mechanism and a discharging mechanism; the material preparation box is arranged on the flat cart, and the discharging butt joint mechanism isarranged on the flat cart; the material box is horizontally and movably arranged at the working end of the discharging butt joint mechanism, the discharging mechanism is arranged in the material box and comprises two vertical baffles, the two vertical baffles are symmetrically arranged on the two sides of the interior of the material box, and a preset distance is formed between one side and the two ends of each vertical baffle and the inner wall of the material box; stepping discharging assemblies are arranged at the two ends of the interior of the material box correspondingly, a discharging driving assembly is arranged in the preset distance between each vertical baffle and the material box, and the working end of each discharging driving mechanism is in transmission connection with the interior of the corresponding stepping discharging mechanism; and the pavement can be automatically paved in a stepping manner, so that the paving efficiency is improved.
