The invention discloses a deceleration strip for helping pedestrians to quickly cross a road. The deceleration strip comprises a submerged box, two deceleration strip cavities with upward openings areformed in the submerged box, the two deceleration strip cavities are placed left and right, the two deceleration strip cavities communicate with each other through a communicating hole, and a water outlet hole with a forward opening is formed in the inner wall of the front side of the communicating hole in a communicating mode; the water outlet holes are communicated with a sewer beside a road, and two rotating shafts are rotationally connected between the left inner side walls and the right inner side walls of the two deceleration strip cavities; pedestrians are carried by the rotating annular deceleration strip to cross the road, the road crossing time of the pedestrians is shortened, traffic jam is avoided, meanwhile, a driver is reminded of the position of the deceleration strip and the width of the road through the indicator lamps moving up and down, the driver can clearly know the road condition of the front road, and then timely decelerated driving is conducted; meanwhile, rainwater on the road surface can be timely drained into a sewer through the water outlet holes, so that the position of the deceleration strip is easier to find.
