The invention discloses a self-heating type building drainage pipe capable of protecting the ground. The self-heating type building drainage pipe comprises a square drainage pipe, a vertically-throughwater flowing cavity is formed in the square drainage pipe, four placing grooves with upward openings are formed in the upper end of the square drainage pipe in a through annular array mode, and fouraccommodating grooves with downward openings are formed in the lower end of the square drainage pipe in a through annular array mode. According to the self-heating type building drainage pipe capableof protecting the ground, a large amount of water flow is divided into a plurality of continuous small parts of water flow to be conveyed downwards, so that a large amount of water at a high positionis prevented from directly impacting the ground, and a large pit is rushed out of the ground; meanwhile, gravitational potential energy of water is used for generating electricity, the generated electric energy is used for heating a heating wire for deicing, and water pipe blockage is prevented; and the outer end face of the square drainage pipe is cleaned, the square drainage pipe is prevented from being aged in advance, meanwhile, impurities in the water are collected through a rotating filter plate, and treatment is convenient.
